The heart of any story worth telling begins with commitment; to an idea, to a relationship, to a choice. Commitment requires depth, tenacity, & genuine passion. With commitment comes intimacy, loyalty, stability, true love... and it takes a lifetime to perfect. We are just at the start of your journey.
My desire is to tell this chapter of your story exactly as it unfolds, documenting both the grandeur and the subtleties. It is within that honesty, that balance, that your narrative is truly revealed. I look forward to joining those surrounding you as your commitment is honored and celebrated.

Do you travel for wedding commissions?
Absolutely! In fact, while I am based in Portland, I currently spend much of my time in Europe (Berlin, specifically). A majority of my wedding work moving forward will be destination weddings. I love to travel and always enjoy photographing a new destination. Consequently, I only charge for modest travel expenses on top of your preferred package. If you are planning a destination wedding, I would love to talk to you about a custom proposal!
I have photographed weddings and lifestyle sessions though out the United States (California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada, Indiana, North & South Carolina, Virginia, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and Hawaii), as well as internationally (Mexico, Iceland, Scotland, Ireland, and Italy). I'm always open to the next big adventure.
Why do you book a limited number of weddings?
While my primary work has taken me in a new direction, I will always make time to photograph a select number of weddings each year. I want to make sure that I am able to give each couple that I work with the attention that their wedding deserves. Your day means more to me than just a paycheck. I do my best with couples who are connected, trusting, & thoughtful, and I give that in return. The time I dedicate pays off satisfactorily. From preparation, to the vows, to wild moves and stolen kisses on the dance floor–all the fleeting moments throughout the day–I work closely with couples so that I can create art that tells their story.
Are you an LGBT Ally?
Love manifests itself in all shapes and sizes, and they are all equal in my eyes. I am so thrilled to finally live in a time where everyone in our country has equal rights.

Now that you have read a bit about me and my work, it's time to introduce yourself! Because I only accept a limited number of weddings each year, and because I highly value my relationships with the couples that I work with, it's really important to me that we are a good fit. Tell me a little about yourself, your plans, your ideas and anything else you would like to share. I'm looking forward to hearing your story.
Once you say hello and share a few details, we can discuss availability, pricing, and more. I look forward to chatting with you!
